Church Deacons
Deacon Ministry Teams
The Deacons at Millfield are organized into ministry teams, which carry out much of the ministry of our congregation. Deacons head the teams, but the teams are mostly made up of other members and regular attenders. Currently three teams have been formed. They are: the Prayer Team, the Crisis/Visitation Team, and the Outreach Ministry Team. These teams are decribed below.
Prayer Ministry Team
Focus
To help our church focus on the importance of prayer in our individual lives and in the life of our church, to pray for specific prayer requests, and to plan special prayer observances throughout the year.
Message
We will commit to pray for our church, its leaders, and its ministries.

Crisis / Visitation Team
Focus
To minister in Christian love to those affected by death, illness, injury, or medical procedures requiring hospital or home care. The ministry will include meals, as needed, in-person visits and phone calls, as well as other assistance when needed.

Burdens are lighter when shared. We want to help, encourage and support YOU spiritually and physically in YOUR time of need!

Focus
To contact people in our community who may be looking for a church home. To warmly greet people when they visit and to help new members and visitors assimilate into life at Millfield.
