Church Deacons
Deacon Ministry Teams
The Deacons at Millfield are organized into Ministry Teams, which allow people to use their God-given gifts in ministry to others. Deacons head the teams, but the teams are mostly made up of other members and regular attenders. Currently two teams have been formed which are the Crisis, Care and Concern Team and the Outreach Team. These teams are decribed below.
Crisis, Care and Concern Team
Focus
To minister in Christian love to individuals and families affected by illness, injury, death and other crisis situations.
Outreach Ministry Team
Focus
To extend a warm welcome to guests and to assist new members in being shepherded into the life of our congregation.
